Crittenden County Jail Roster
The official web path starts with the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office online jail roster wrapper, which embeds the public roster from RPS/myr2m. The direct Crittenden County jail roster is free to view and does not require a login. It is built around three roster windows: Current Inmates, New Inmates, and Recent Releases. Current Inmates answers the core custody question. New Inmates covers people booked in the last 48 hours. Recent Releases covers people released in the last 48 hours. During research on May 28, 2026, the live current count changed, so the number should be read as a point-in-time roster total, not a fixed jail population figure.
The county roster is a booking and custody tool. It is not the full court file, a full criminal-history report, or the Arkansas Department of Corrections locator. A person arrested by West Memphis Police, Marion Police, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Highway Police, or the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office can appear on the same county jail roster because the Crittenden County Detention Center is the local detention facility. The Arrested By field names the agency. It does not mean the listed agency runs the jail.
For a visual check of the public roster, the current inmates page shows the tabs, live count text, Sort By control, Select Name dropdown, page-size control, photos, charges, and bond fields.
That roster view is the best first stop for local custody, but later case events should be checked through court and corrections systems.
Use Crittenden County Inmate Search
The web roster is not a blank-name search database. It is a browse-and-filter roster with tabs, sorting, a Select Name menu, and page-size controls. That matters when the embedded frame on the sheriff site feels cramped or when a phone screen hides part of the interface. If the sheriff wrapper is hard to use, open the direct roster. If the arrest is very recent, check both Current Inmates and New Inmates because the person may be easier to spot by arrest date than by name.
- Open the sheriff's roster wrapper or the direct current roster and confirm that the header reads Crittenden County Sheriffs Office Jail Roster.
- Choose the right tab: Current Inmates for present custody, New Inmates for the last 48 hours of bookings, or Recent Releases for the last 48 hours of releases.
- Use Sort By to switch between Arrested Date and Name. Increase Select Page Size to 20 or 30 if browsing a longer list.
- Use Select Name to jump to a listed person, then compare name, age, race/sex, city/state, arresting agency, arrested date, charges, and bond.
- If the person is not found, check spelling, recent release, court records, Arkansas DOC, BOP, ICE, or Arkansas VINE before assuming there is no custody record.
The sheriff also publishes the RPS-Inmate Info app page. The app page says users search for RelativityInc, choose Inmate Info, and select Crittenden County Sheriffs Office. It advertises current jail population, booked in the last 24 hours, released in the last 24 hours, name or booking-date searches, visiting hours, directions, arrest details, charges, and bond amounts. The web roster uses last-48-hour tabs, so keep the app's advertised 24-hour windows separate from the web page's 48-hour windows.
Crittenden County Roster Controls
The public Crittenden County inmate records interface uses controls rather than a standard form. A user who looks only for a text box may miss the correct path. The Select Name menu changes with the selected tab because it pulls from the current roster window. The page-size menu is useful when many current inmates are listed, and sorting by arrest date helps with fresh bookings.

Crittenden County Inmate Record Fields
A Crittenden County inmate record on the public roster is a card-style booking snapshot. It is strongest for identity clues, photo, local booking date, arresting agency, charges, and bond display. It is not strong for court dates, judge assignment, statute code, full date of birth, booking number, housing unit, or attorney information. Treat each card as a jail record that may later connect to a court case, not as proof of conviction.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Photo | Booking photo or mugshot thumbnail loaded from the roster photo endpoint. |
| Name | Last, first, and middle or additional name format. |
| Race / Sex / Age | Combined identity line, useful only when checked with other fields. |
| Address | City and state in observed examples, not a full street address. |
| Arrested | Date and time tied to the booking record. |
| Arrested By | Agency such as sheriff, city police, Arkansas State Police, or Arkansas Highway Police. |
| Charges | Plain-English booking charge text, warrant labels, holds, or other booking descriptions. |
| Bond | Dollar amount when listed, subject to holds, court conditions, and bond rules. |
| Released | Release date/time on recent-release records when visible. |
Several important details were not visible in inspected public web entries: booking number, date of birth, housing or pod, judge, court date, warrant number, statute code, charge class, sentence status, attorney, next hearing, and release date for current inmates. Use Crittenden County court records after jail arrest for filed charges, docket events, dispositions, and future court events.
Crittenden County Jail or DOC
The main source for local detention is the county roster. A sentenced or transferred person may move into Arkansas DOC custody or a state community-correction placement and stop appearing in the county current-inmate list. The Arkansas DOC inmate search is the correct state lookup. It can be searched by ADC number, name, county, facility, gender, offense category, age, and race, and it requires a disclaimer checkbox before searching. The facility dropdown includes state units, community-correction centers, county waiting lists, and Crittenden-related waiting-list options.
Federal and immigration custody are separate. No BOP prison or ICE detention facility was located inside Crittenden County in official sources reviewed. Federal sentenced inmates use the BOP inmate locator. Immigration detainees use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. Arkansas VINE is also available for custody and case notification, with DOC materials stating that county jail data updates every 15 minutes, DOC data every hour, and court/probation/parole data once per day.
| Record Source | Best For | Not Best For |

| Search ARCourts | Filed charges, court events, dispositions, judgments, public case documents when available | Current jail housing, commissary, or video visits |
| Arkansas DOC locator | State prison or community-correction custody, ADC profiles, sentence data, facility | Fresh county jail booking before DOC transfer |
| ARCH criminal history | Official Arkansas criminal-history search for public background information | Free custody lookup or jail booking photo |
| BOP and ICE locators | Federal prison or immigration custody checks | County jail custody in West Memphis |
Crittenden County Detention Facilities
Crittenden County has two different custody systems that readers often confuse. The Crittenden County Detention Center is the county jail for local arrests, pretrial detainees, local commitments, and agency or court holds shown on the public roster. East Central Arkansas Community Correction Center is a state residential community-correction center in West Memphis, operated through Arkansas Community Correction and the Arkansas Department of Corrections. It is not the county jail and should be searched through DOC channels.

Crittenden County Booking Records
The sheriff site does not publish a local booking manual, so the public record path should be described from confirmed local roster fields and Arkansas jail standards. An arresting agency brings the person into the county detention process or otherwise creates the booking in the jail-management system. The record can then show arrest date and time, arresting agency, charges, identifying data, and photo. A bond amount may appear after jail or court processing if bond has been set and no hold blocks release.
Arkansas jail standards add context without creating a Crittenden-specific promise. Detention facilities must check the legal basis for confinement, such as warrants, court orders, commitments, arrest reports, or other authority. Classification must consider custody level and housing assignment factors such as age, sex, offense or conviction, custody needs, special needs, and behavior. Medical and mental-health processes are also part of the standards. None of those standards means the public roster will show housing, medical data, or a guaranteed posting time.
Note: A roster charge is booking language, while a filed charge and disposition belong in the court record.
Crittenden County Visitation Records
Visitation for the county jail is handled through City Tele-Coin video visitation. The sheriff's visitation page says appointments are required and must be made by calling 870-702-2052 each week. It also says no other sheriff department number can make appointments or accept schedule or cancellation messages. The facility has video booths and remote visiting, no contact visits, one 15-minute visit per week, and a Tuesday through Friday schedule based on the inmate's last name.
| Day | Inmate Last Name | Video Visit Times |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday | A-F | 8:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. |
| Wednesday | G-L | 8:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. |
| Thursday | M-R | 8:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. |
| Friday | S-Z | 8:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. |
Visitors must register with the correctional officer in charge of visitation and show state-issued identification. Visitors under 18 must be with a parent or guardian and need proof such as a birth certificate or guardianship document. No cell phones, cameras, electronics, purses, handbags, or backpacks are allowed in the visitation area. The rules also bar disruptive conduct, revealing clothing, no-contact-order visits, smoking, loitering, drugs, alcohol, and intoxicated visitors.
Crittenden County Inmate Funds
The sheriff's commissary page lists three county jail deposit methods. Online deposits go through Tiger Commissary and require the detainee's name. The lobby kiosk at the Crittenden County Detention Center accepts major credit cards and cash. Money orders may be sent by U.S. Mail to Crittenden County Sheriff Dept., 350 Afco Rd., West Memphis, AR, with the detainee's name on the money order. The commissary phone line is 870-702-2096, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Do not use DOC banking for a person held in the Crittenden County Detention Center. Arkansas DOC banking through CorrectPay, Access Corrections, online deposits, phone, smartphone, and some walk-in retailers applies to DOC inmates and residents. County jail deposits use the sheriff's Tiger Commissary, kiosk, and money-order channels. The same split applies to visitation: county jail video visits follow the sheriff's City Tele-Coin schedule, while DOC visitation requires a state approval process and unit-level scheduling.
Note: Confirm custody status before sending money because county jail and DOC deposit systems do not serve the same population.
Crittenden County Record Gaps
A missing name can have several causes. The arrest may be too new for the roster. The person may have been released within the Recent Releases window. The spelling may differ from what family or news reports use. A person may have moved to Arkansas DOC custody, federal custody, immigration custody, or another jurisdiction. A person may also have a court case without current jail custody. The right response is to move through the access chain, not to rely on one failed search.
For jail custody questions, call 870-702-2010 or dispatch at 870-702-2000. For accident and incident report copies, the sheriff administrative-services page lists Patricia or Pat Joplin at 870-702-2029 and says copies are available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a $10 report-copy cost. For court case records, use Search ARCourts and the Crittenden Circuit Clerk. For notification, Arkansas VINE is the state-supported option. For federal and immigration detention, use BOP and ICE rather than the county roster.
